I just love starting into the day with a bit of cycling. This morning I took Battle Cat 2.0 on a quick single track ride in a nearby forest and onto a pump track for the first time. 🚲

The new XC/downcountry mountain bike frame has finally arrived. Three months of waiting for this custom beauty. The build will be fun. 📷 🚲

My two repaired pairs of Bedrock Cairn sandals and the new turquoise pair arrived. Bring on the sandal weather already.

Really fun weekend taking the dogs to places they’ve not been to before. The small one was her usual spunky self and the big old lady seemed to enjoy slowly exploring new paths, too. 📷 🐕

Went out for a really fun lunch ride. About 70% road and 30% gravel. First time in shorts this year and damn my legs are pasty. 🚲

Went out for a really fun ride on Wednesday. The climb almost killed my legs but it was worth it for the views, the sun I got to soak up, and the descent. Oh and there was about 1 km of hike-a-bike because all-road tyres and snow don’t mix. 🚲 📷

If you enjoy @iamspecialized “Purist” bottles (water has no discernible plastic taste and the water flow is excellent) but do not appreciate the exposed mouthpiece, a “Camelbak Podium Mud Cap” can solve that problem.
