The left pedal’s spindle showed more wear than the right one and didn’t have enough grease in the body. Hopefully, having disassembled, cleaned, copiously lubricated, reassembled, and adjusted them, these pedals will still last me many KMs. Now my gravel bike has red shoes. 👠 😜

About to disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble this used pair of HT D1 pedals I bought as a replacement for the ones that I moved from my gravel bike to my new commuter bike. They’re in a worse state than the seller specified and I hope there are no bad surprises waiting.

The new/used saddle I ordered for the bike re-build project is overdue and it keeps me from having a usable bike. Tomorrow I’m expecting a few final componentes, including a SpurCycle Bell.

The commuter/shopping/dog-trailer-pulling bike project is taking shape. I’m just really anxious that the chain line won’t work out, using the full SRAM NX Eagle group on this CX frame with a PressFit 86 bottom bracket.

After apparently no one was interested in the frame set of my Canyon CX bike, I took it off the market and I’m going to rebuild it as a city bike with a flat bar, fenders, and a 1x setup. Just got a good deal on a new pair of DT Swiss endurance bike wheels. Here we go.

Sunday ride. It was hot, the first half was much harder than expected, and I had a flat. That beer before the last third was necessary.

Great! Barely 7 km into my bike ride this morning and I have a flat front tyre because some idiot smashed a bottle on the road.

This forest trail is just asking to be ridden. Can’t wait to jump on my bike again. I’ve been using my weekly hikes to scout new tracks to ride with my bike and I found so many nice places already.

Couldn’t let this World Bicycle Day pass without going for a ride. Came home late, exhausted, and happy.
