What’s a huge upside to hearing Josh Gondelman‘s voice on The Bugle and The Gargle so often? I read excellent articles like “How to hate a Jew like a Jew” in his voice in my head. Oh and if you like Josh’s stuff, he has a newsletter on substack now that’s definitely worth subscribing to.

With all of the discussions about Twitter, content curation, and the open web, I can’t express strongly enough how grateful I am for my feed aggregator of choice, Feedbin. The filtering options alone are worth the price. It also has one of the best designed web apps I know.

It’s become too cold for riding in cycling shoes and thick socks alone and I hate the faff of overshoes, so I just ordered two pairs of insulated and waterproof clipless shoes: The Fizik Terra Artica X2 and the Shimano SH-MW702. Let see which one fits better. 🚲

Sitting at a car dealership, getting a few things fixed and modified on my Forester. They just handed me a cup of coffee. Someone here really enjoys good ☕️ because not only is it not terrible (as you’d expect), it’s tasty and strong as heck. I’m having my butt whooped.

Just ordered the newly released Røde NT-USB+ microphone. Been looking for something capable to make me sound better during video calls and webinar recordings and this looks like a solid option with USB-C connectivity and a pop filter in the package.

New “Amber Says What” dropped.

Out with the old, in with the new, I guess. Not happy about the fact that helmets essentially have an expiration date but 🤷‍♂️. Not going to risk it. The neon yellow Bell Zephyr is getting replaced with the dark grey and green Bell XR. 🚲

It’s 17°C in my basement office. Let’s see how long I can go heroically not turning on the heating this year. So far I’ve switched to warmer wooly socks, put on a merino wool long sleeve under my hoodie, and made myself a large mug of earl grey.
