I'm having serious trouble containing my excitement for this movie.
These two trailers hit within the last few days and while I really can't wait to watch "Captain Marvel", the excitement for "Avengers – Endgame" is bitter sweet.
Marvel has built up an amazing franchise starting with the first Iron Man movie. It has spawned an entire universe of movies, TV series, and other media that have entertained me for ten years. I really wonder how they are going to end this chapter with the last Avengers movie and what the next chapter will bring.
I'm giddy with excitement. This is going to be great.
Really nothing more to say. I hope this movie will be as good as The Force Awakens.
I really hope they don't mess it up with stupid misogynistic tropes.
If you like the movie Unbreakable as much as I do, listening to Jason Snell and team discuss it, is going to make you want to watch it again.
Unbreakable is one of those lesser known gems and one of the best superhero movies of the last twenty years. Unlike most action-heavy films, it is well written and directed and it aged equally well.
One of the things that weirded me out to no end when I saw the movie for the first time, was that I didn't notice the soundtrack (composed by James Newton Howard).
Of course there is a soundtrack but it is so subtle and unobtrusive, woven into the movie so perfectly, I only became aware of the music a couple of times. This is a major factor why this movie will still put me on edge, even though I must've watched it at least ten times.
N° 1: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Trailer 2
N° 2: Alien: Covenant
Not (just) because 2016 is a giant dumpster fire and I can't wait for it to be over but because Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 is scheduled to be released in May 2017.
Here's the first official trailer.
I am ridiculously excited for this movie.
